It’s no secret that tradies love a good snack, but which one is the fave?
According to new research, a staggering 88 per cent of tradies and DIYers snack while working, with Tim Tams crowned the ultimate Arnott’s on-site treat (54 per cent), followed by Shapes (45 per cent) and Scotch Fingers (24 per cent).

However, despite the demand, four in five tradies and DIYers (80 per cent) admit to struggling with snacking on the job due to dirty hands, being too busy, or their snacks getting lost in the chaos.

The Bikkie Belt is designed to tackle these snack-time struggles head-on. Whether you’re a Wagon Wheel-wielding welder or a Chippy with a craving for Chicken Crimpy Shapes, the Arnott’s Bikkie Belt keeps your favourite snacks within arm’s reach.
The research also revealed that:
- Gen Z and Millennials are the biggest snackers, with 84 per cent of both demographics snacking on the job.
- Tradies and DIYers enjoy an average of two snacks a day, with fast and easy snack access being essential for 66 per cent of respondents.
- Three in five tradies and DIYers (60 per cent) admit to stashing snacks to keep them safe, with 21 per cent hiding them in their van and 25 per cent putting them on the top shelf.
In a bid to keep Aussie workers fuelled and focused on the job, Arnott’s has launched the Bikkie Belt, a limited-edition, toolbelt-style snack holster designed to keep biscuits within arm’s reach.
The innovative product made its debut on The Block and is now up for grabs in a competition for Aussies.
