Washzilla Eco-Friendly Laundry Ball

Who else thinks this thing looks like a Death Star?

Anyone?

And like the Death Star, there seem to be a lot of people who believe this thing has awesome powers.

The idea is, instead of chemicals and detergents – which we think are the same thing – sanguine, gullible, punters drop this ball full of balls in the washing machine, fill ’er with good ol’ H20, and the clothes come out clean and smelling good.

According to the manufacturers, WashZilla contains spheres made from alkaline materials called ‘Bio Ceramides’. The Bio Ceramides ‘change the laundry’s PH levels without any chemicals at all’. It’s a nontoxic and environmentally friendly way of doing the wash.

About the only thing we think is accurate about the claims for this device is that it’s a load of balls.

We like the name, though. WashZilla is a cool name.

We’re not going to tell you who’s selling them in case you’re tempted to actually buy one and poke fun at it.

We’ve saved you $27.00.

You’re welcome.
