Price friendly Musso ute unveils EV model

Another well-known ute brand is charging into the alternative energy space with the launch of its first all -electric ute.

KGM has launched the Musso EV, its first fully electric ute, and also lays claim to be built on the Musso legacy as Korea’s first recreational pickup.

The Musso ute is well-known for it’s bang for buck, winning the Best Dual-Cab Ute under $50K at the Drive Car of the Year 2025 awards two years in a row.

Musso claims to have overcome the key barriers of range and power that have been impediments to public perception of electric utes. Utes frequently make up four of the five top selling vehicles in Australia according to FCAI figures

Chinese brand BYD stormed the market earlier this year with its Shark, the first plug in hybrid ute  in Australia,  offering the usual pulling power of a ute but the range benefits of PHEV.
