Kennards Hire Gympie: New branch opens with specialist machinery fleet

Kennards Hire Gympie

Kennards Hire has expanded its Queensland footprint with the opening of a new Gympie equipment hire branch, providing local tradies, contractors, businesses and residents with improved access to hire equipment and specialist machinery.

The new location is the company’s 37th branch in Queensland and forms part of its continued investment in regional Australia.

Local team to support Gympie region

The Gympie branch is staffed by employees who live and work in the local community, with Branch Manager AJ Ingledew saying the new facility will make it easier for customers to access equipment and technical advice without travelling further afield.

“Opening a Kennards Hire branch here means we can better support local businesses, tradies and residents by providing access to quality equipment and expert advice close to where they live and work,” Mr Ingledew said.

Based in the nearby Mary Valley, Mr Ingledew has spent 15 years with Kennards Hire and said supporting customers across a wide variety of projects remains one of the most rewarding aspects of the role.

“Whether it’s someone tackling a weekend project or a contractor delivering a larger-scale job, it’s rewarding knowing we’ve played a part in helping make it happen,” he said.

Expanded equipment hire options for local projects

The new Gympie branch will service residential, commercial and construction customers requiring access to equipment for building, landscaping, maintenance and infrastructure projects.

It is also supported by Kennards Hire’s recently opened Specialist Mini Distribution Centre in Maroochydore, approximately 75 kilometres away, providing customers with access to a broader range of specialist equipment when required.

Focus on regional growth

Kennards Hire said the Gympie branch will also support local organisations and community initiatives through sponsorships and partnerships as it establishes itself within the region.

The opening continues the family-owned company’s regional expansion strategy, increasing equipment hire access for businesses and contractors while supporting employment opportunities in growing regional centres across Queensland.
