In a bind? Truck Assist Roadside helps tradies

When it hits the fan, the last thing a tradie needs is more problems instead of solutions.

Same thing applies to driving a truck – when trouble strikes, you don’t need issues to snowball.

When it comes to delivering top-notch roadside support for truck owners, Truck Assist Roadside has it down to a tee. Its Repairer Network has been finely tuned across decades to ensure any mishaps on the road don’t cost more than they need to and have you rolling again asap.

Networking

NTI Repair Network’s National Manager Adam Craft said it’s been over 20 years now since Truck Assist identified the gap in the market for a reliable repair network.

“We needed a network that could not only fix trucks efficiently and cost-effectively – but that also prioritised safety,” he said.

“Gotta be safety first and always, is what we say.

“We spoke to the industry and got the ball rolling from there.”

From humble beginnings, Truck Assist’s Repair Network is nearing 80 repairers nationwide.

While there are premium repairers who handle the big prime movers – as well as a dedicated trailer repair network – tradies will benefit primarily from the local network of repairers who handle smaller trucks.

Nationwide

Truck Assist’s local network of repairers are located across the country, available anywhere a customer may need their help.

If a breakdown happens in the middle of a backroad somewhere, tradies can call on Truck Assist’s 24/7 help line to get the truck towed to a repairer quick-smart.

Their repairers aren’t just your uncle who knows a thing or two about trucks either.

“One of the biggest things about members of our Repair Network is not only do they have to qualify through our criteria, but they have to share our values too,” Adam said.

“If you don’t provide the same level of customer service as we do, you won’t be part of our network.

“When a customer meets with one of our repairers – even if it’s at the worst possible time – we still want it to be a positive experience.”

Truck Assist customer can also contact the Repair Network knowing full-well the repairer has auto-authorisation.

“As long as the customer has an active claim number with us, they can get the truck into the repairers and get the job done without an assessor having to look at the vehicle,” Adam said.

“They’ll get the truck back working and on the road as soon as possible.”

Adam said the quality of work also has to reach a high standard in order for a repairer to join Truck Assist’s Repair Network, meaning you’re getting the best in the industry.

“They’re the highest standards in the industry,” he said.

No better

If repairs prove to be more complex, NTI (Truck Assist’s parent company) also has a parts division on-hand to provide repairers, Australia-wide, with the right parts as soon as possible.

“Even if we need to source parts from overseas – we can do it a lot quicker than others in the market,” Adam said.

As if things weren’t simple already, Truck Assist makes getting help as straightforward as possible.

“If you don’t know where your nearest Truck Assist repairer is, all you have to do is go to our website and chuck in your postcode and it’ll have all the repairers in your area.

From there, you can get your truck to the repairer (if driveable) who’ll get stuck in, or Truck Assist will arrange the truck to be towed.

The quantity of repairers is one thing, but Truck Assist ensures each one operates to a high quality of work that has tradies’ minds at ease when repairs are needed.
