Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) – (HCA) – has announced the release of the new Zaxis-5 mini excavator range, saying it delivers new levels of precision, power, productivity and some of the most versatile machines in the light equipment market.
WTW understands the Zaxis-5 range is customised to suit a diverse number of industry applications, including infrastructure, construction, landscaping, residential and commercial developments through to material handling, scrap recycling and deconstruction.
HCM says the range boasts revolutionary features including Hitachi’s renowned compact swing radius and precise movement allowing smooth, quick and responsive controllability in complex and challenging applications.
Factory standard hose rupture valves have been integrated in all models to enhance machine safety while the range boasts a strengthened frame structure, designed for enhanced safety and greater machine durability.
As well as better productivity, HCA says the range has up to an 11.5 per cent reduction in fuel consumption over its predecessor – without any power reduction – as well as reduced noise and emissions, a larger cabin and windshield, an intuitive electronic management system and streamlined machine maintenance and inspections.
