Erectile dysfunction – tackling tool troubles in the bedroom

There’s nothing more frustrating than when you’re at the gym, and your muscles fail you.

Tradies are all-too familiar with this, but for blokes in particular, it takes on a whole new meaning when it comes to the bedroom.

Erectile dysfunction (ED) affects about 350 million men worldwide, according to Ohh-Med Medical founder and CEO Daniel Lischinsky. Despite this, men have a hard time finding a solution that fixes the root of the problem.

Enter Vertica

While plenty of blokes will try various medications and procedures to fix ED, Vertica has a different approach.

Vertica is a device that uses radio frequency technology to stimulate collagen fibres in penis muscles.

Lischinsky said ED is typically caused by ‘venous leakage’ which is associated with impaired integrity of the penis’ collagen fibres.

“Erectile dysfunction is usually caused by reduced blood flow to the penile erectile bodies or due to penile blood leakage during erection (a condition called ‘venous leakage’),” Lischinsky said.

“Age-related degenerative changes and atrophy of collagen fibers in the tunica albuginea result in tissue floppiness and the loss of this occlusive function, leading to leakage of blood from the penis during erections with a resulting erectile dysfunction,” he added.

“While first and second line therapies for ED all work on increasing blood flow to the penis without treating the underlying causes now, for the first time, penile venous leakage is actually reversible using Vertica’s unique technology.”

Hard worker

Tradies would never take an untested tool to a job without having done their research first.

It’s the same with ED treatments, and Vertica has the data to support its quality.

Vertica was clinically tested at the Neuro-Urology unit at the Ramban Healthcare campus in Israel.

Trial lead Professor Ilan Gruanwald said “the results demonstrated a significant enhancement of penile erections (up to 89 per cent success rates) and furthermore, a high sexual quality of life and high satisfaction from treatment.”

Unlike other ED treatments, such as medications, Vertica isn’t impacted by the consumption of alcohol or food.

“And they require a doctor’s prescription, so many men feel it affects the discreteness of the entire process,” Lischinsky added.

The simple interface of Vertica also makes it vastly less intrusive than certain surgeries and procedures men resort to when tackling ED.

It is recommended that the device is used three times a week for the first month of use, then twice a week for the second and finally once a week in the third.

Think of it like a workout routine for strengthening those downstairs muscles!

Vertica aims to bring back spontaneity and confidence to the bedroom  for blokes in a way other treatments cannot.
