Carpentry Expo is on the horizon, but there’s already plenty of reasons for tradies to get hyped for the event.
The expo – co-hosted by Carpentry Australia and Prime Creative Media – will bring together the best the industry has to offer by way of tools, experts and technology.
You’d be hard-pressed to find a worksite in Australia that doesn’t have Ramset’s fingerprints on it.
The construction tool brand will be one of many showcasing its latest and greatest at Carpentry Expo, including the new generation gas powered cordless nailer, TrakFast™ 65 and the heavy-weight powder actuated FrameBoss™ XPM.
Right tools for the job
Ramset’s TrakFast™ 65 is a powerhouse gas-powered cordless nailer designed for tradies who need speed, strength, and efficiency on the job.
With an impressive 105 joules of impact energy, it delivers serious force shot after shot – making it ideal for framing, track work, and partitioning tasks.
Capable of firing up to 65mm pins, the TrakFast™ 65 marks a noticeable upgrade over its predecessors in both power and performance. It’s built for convenience too, delivering up to 10,000 shots per battery charge and works seamlessly with high-capacity gas canisters to handle entire frames without needing to stop and reload.

The FrameBoss™ XPM is a heavy-duty powder-actuated (PA) tool designed to deliver exceptional power and precision for framing, fixing, and formwork jobs. This beast of a nailer dishes out a staggering 400 joules of impact energy, allowing users to drive nails with stronger hold and greater accuracy.
Tradies can tailor the tool’s output with two levels of power charges – yellow and red – depending on the task at hand. Designed for real-world site challenges, the FrameBoss™ XPM features an adjustable magazine angle for working in tight or awkward spaces, and can shoot up to ten 75mm nails before needing a reload (or a single shot up to 100mm).

Ramset Tools Product Manager Simon Babcock said both tools – as well as other new Ramset products – outline the brand’s dedication to a wide range of building applications.
“We’ve got a few tools that lend themselves to a number of commercial and residential areas,” he said.
“We’re always seeking ways to innovate and stay ahead with next-generation technology to enhance the onsite experience for tradies. That’s why we’re proud to launch tools like the TrakFast 65 — a product developed directly from valuable customer feedback.”
