Carpentry Australia to partner with Weekend Today on Channel 9

Carpentry Australia is proud to be expanding our national footprint, with team members now on the ground in Victoria, New South Wales, South Australia, Queensland, Tasmania, and Western Australia.

This exciting growth means we’re better positioned than ever to support carpenters, apprentices, and employers right across the country.

Our focus remains clear, driving up enrolments into training, increasing completion rates, and welcoming more carpenters from every corner of Australia into our growing community.

Recently, we had the privilege of being part of the Melbourne Build Expo, where over 12,000 people made their way through across two incredible days.

It was an inspiring event that brought together tradespeople, apprentices, and industry leaders from all areas of construction.

Carpentry Australia was proud to host and co-host three engaging sessions: one on building and scaling a successful business, an apprentice networking session in collaboration with Apprenticeships Victoria, and an empowering Women in Construction panel discussion celebrating diversity, leadership, and opportunity within our trade.

Connecting face-to-face with so many passionate individuals reminded us why we do what we do, to strengthen our industry and support those shaping its future.

Cameras rolling

As we continue to grow our presence and impact, we’re thrilled to share that Carpentry Australia is breaking new ground.

We’re proud to announce our new partnership with the team at Weekend Today on Channel 9, where we’ll be showcasing a series of DIY projects designed to inspire Australians to make their homes more inviting, functional, and enjoyable spaces to live in.

Through this collaboration, we’re bringing the creativity and skill of carpentry to living rooms across the nation, encouraging people to pick up the tools, have a go, and appreciate the craft behind the homes we live in.

At Carpentry Australia, our mission has always been to promote the trade of carpentry, support those working within it, and inspire the next generation to consider a career on the tools.

Building the homes and communities that shape our great country.

With our expanded team, exciting new partnerships, and a growing community of proud, skilled tradespeople, we’re continuing to build a stronger future for carpentry in Australia.
