NSW Women in Construction CarpentHer project

The CarpentHer project in NSW is well underway and gaining serious momentum. Thanks to the hard work and dedication of our NSW team, we’re on track to not only meet but exceed our project objectives. This program supports and elevates women in construction, creating pathways, educational opportunities, and career growth for female talent in the industry.

Celebrating 40 years of ICN Victoria’s support for local industry

Carpentry Australia’s Jake and Nathan recently attended the 40th Anniversary celebration of ICN Victoria, an organisation that’s been pivotal in fostering growth across Victoria.  For four decades, ICN has connected local businesses to major projects, boosted job opportunities, and championed local industry and materials. We were honoured to celebrate with professionals whose commitment to Australian industries is both inspiring and essential to community growth.

Helping Hand Day for Queensland hero Matt Scott

Carpentry Australia’s latest Helping Hand Day took place in Mudgeeraba, Queensland, honouring Matt Scott, an ICU nurse who embodies community spirit. Alongside his wife Nicole, also a nurse, Matt has tirelessly supported those in need during the pandemic. In addition to his role in healthcare, Matt has volunteered for seven years as Santa Claus at the Gold Coast Hospital, bringing joy to young patients, and has been a strong advocate for trauma and emergency services.

These Helping Hand Days remind us of all to value the unsung heroes like Matt, who are there for us in our toughest moments. We’re proud to acknowledge his remarkable contributions to healthcare and community.

Partnering with Bendigo Bank for community impact

Carpentry Australia’s Matty also attended the Bendigo Bank East Ivanhoe Community Awards night, celebrating over $400,000 in donations to local causes this year. Bendigo Bank has been a fantastic partner, supporting our Helping Hand Days in Victoria and helping us host the Nail Your Swing Golf Day. We’re thrilled to work alongside such a dedicated organisation and look forward to achieving more together in 2025.

Carpentry Australia remains committed to building community and championing those who make a difference.  From inspiring podcasts to celebrating partnerships, we’re proud to support the people who shape Australia’s future.
