BR-X1 Tourbillon Skeleton Watch

There’s a fair bit of wankery around watches, but there’s no denying the precision and incredible engineering in a good timepiece.

We’re not talking about those $10 jobbies from the servo, or those slapper ones that say it’s time to do sit-ups. We’re talking about real watches that work with springs and sprockets and stuff.

Have a Captain Cook at this beauty from Bell And Ross. Looks good, doesn’t it? It’s clearly worth every cent of the $480,000 asking price.

Wait…we’ll just check that…

Yep. $480,000. Nearly half-a-mill Aussie.

If you have that kind of cash to spend getting information that’s free on probably 50 phones and computers within 30 metres, you don’t need our help on knowing where to spend it. Even so, you can grab a Tourbillon Skeleton at Hardy Brothers in Brisbane, Sydney and Perth, and Bell And Ross Boutique in Melbourne. You can probably get them on Ebay or a beach in Bali as well, but we didn’t check that.
