Oh, baby…spurt!
For Mac fans – and let’s face it, who isn’t? – the Macbook Pro is the only serious laptop for working pros…and gamers, bloggers, internet slappers and searching for sites of ‘an adult nature’.
And while the 15″ lappy has been the standard for quite a while, Mac has just released a 16″ version and it has the editor in giddy spells.
For those who understand such things, the base model of the new ’pooter offers a 2.6GHz 6-core processor, 512GB storage and AMD Radeon Pro 5300M.
We don’t know what all that means, and when we asked the editor to explain he just stared at the pic and drooled.
The other stuff listed includes:
- Turbo Boost up to 4.5GHz
- AMD Radeon Pro 5300M with 4GB of GDDR6 memory
- 16GB of 2666MHz DDR4 memory
- 512GB of SSD storage
- 16-inch Retina display with True Tone
- Touch Bar and Touch ID, AND
- Four Thunderbolt 3 ports.
Prices start from $3799 for the tiddler and jump to $4399 for the big gun. Any Mac-authorised store will sell you one, but we noticed apple.com.au is doing interest-free deals for up to two years. Click in and see how you go.
